Born in Plymouth in March 1965. Mike was taught classical violin between the ages of 11 and 18 and has sung and played violin, guitar and bass in various bands in the 80s and 90s culminating in a self-produced solo CD (The Gods Of Chaos – View From The Hill) in 2005.

Favourite musicians: David Gilmour (of course!), Pink Floyd, Lee Ritenour, Larry Carlton, Joe Bonamassa, Stanley Clarke, RUSH, Incognito, The Rippingtons, Coldplay, George Benson, Pat Metheny, Porcupine Tree, Radiohead, Victor Wooten, Weather Report, Jamiroquai.

Favourite film and book: All the Python films and The Thing (1982) and he has it in every format on nearly every AV device he owns, and among hundreds of books he loves, The Healer – F. Paul Wilson, because it’s the only one he’s read at least three times.

Mike has a passion for prop planes from the 2nd World War.
